Position Summary:
A paraprofessional may work in a variety of positions in a school district. The primary roles are to assist and support teachers and students in various classroom settings, including providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and assisting with student needs. They work under the direction of a certified teacher, offering individual or small group support, reinforcing lessons, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.

Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Arkansas Paraprofessional certificate or license to meet ADE certification standards for the position's essential duties and responsibilities.

Ability to apply basic computer programs (spreadsheet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) to enhance job performance.
